Hi! My name is Kurt…
…I’m a Tennessee-licensed, CLARB-certified landscape architect. Over the past 17 years, I’ve worked at top landscape architecture firms in New York City, Portland, Oregon, and now Chattanooga, Tennessee—designing and documenting projects ranging from urban rooftops to neighborhood parks.
I also hold an FAA Part 107 certificate, which allows me to photograph projects from both the ground and the air with the same attention to detail I bring to my drawings.
I’m active in the Nooga Night Rotary Club and founded Rotary Tree Towns, a volunteer program that’s planted over 100 young trees in neighborhoods across the city, an incremental step toward a healthier urban canopy.
Outside of work, I stay busy with my four-year-old daughter, experiment with home-cured meats, take laid-back bike rides around the neighborhood, and obsess over Ohio State football each fall.
I value clear communication, practical problem-solving, and good design—principles I aim to bring to every project and partnership.
